According to the book Site Reliability Engineering: How Google Runs Production Systems “SRE teams are responsible for the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of services. SREs codify rules of engagement and principles for how they interact with their environment.”
There is confusion among people whether DevOps and SRE are competing. SRE started by Google around 2003 while DevOps got its name around 2009. To understand clearly the difference and how both compliments each other to deliver greater value to the customers, this webinar will explain the concepts of DevOps and SRE and help people take up the journey.
